ALTAnet Ltd. is a company born in 1996 in Altamura (Bari), aimed at strategic development of innovative internet solutions. Innovation is the core of company strategy. In the course of time, gradually, but with the right speed, the company took hold of new tools in order to offer new services and highly innovative and competitive solutions.

ALTAnet Ltd has the permission of Ministero delle Comunicazioni D.L. 103/95 for internet and telecommunication services. With the partnership of some Universities, ALTAnet took part in the fulfilling of national projects. In 2001 ALTAnet drew up two agreements with Politecnico di Bari for the development of innovative projects, research projects and hosting of undergraduate, graduate and PhD research pathways, orientation and training.
ALTAnet is certified ISO 9001:2008 and closely follows the principles of this rule in order to provide high quality products and services.

Altanet, through its engineering section, and partnership with research institutes deals with the design, implementation and realization of high-tech systems. In particular, the engineering activities, developed in Altanet's R&D laboratory, use the most innovative hardware/software focused on areas such as remote monitoring, supervision and, more generally, the automatic control of industrial processes. In this perspective Altanet can help its potential clients finding the most efficient solutions with particular attention and interest in Green Technology.
